Pricing and bank payouts
Using Hopoti is completely risk-free for companies. Registration is free, we do not expect stables to sign any binding contracts and the service can be tried out for as long as you like.
All we charge is a sales commission of the payments processed by Hopoti, which is 3.3% of the total price. The commission is charged for the entire payment (total price, including tax), and the current rate of value added tax is applied. The minimum commission before tax is EUR 1 / GBP 1 / SEK 10 per transaction, please note that the additional payment method specific costs described below may apply.
We shall transfer the payments directly to your bank account with the following appropriate payout schedule:
- All countries except Finland: daily (7 day cycle) or custom payouts.
- Finland: daily, weekly, monthly.
Hopoti’s sales commission is automatically deducted from the payout, and the payout always includes the total payment, regardless of the payment method selected by the client.
Hopoti’s basic prices outside Finland include all European debit and credit cards. A list of additional payment method specific costs can be found below. The current rate of value added tax is applied.
- American Express +1.9%
- Debit and credit cards issued outside Europe +1.9%
We recommend enabling all payment methods for clients, as even if some card payments entail a small additional cost only a very small portion of clients, less than 5% according to our statistics, uses these payment methods.
If your company has registered as liable for value added tax in the EU (outside Finland), the VAT liability can be transferred directly to your company. This means that we do not charge the rate of value added tax in our sales commissions, and your company is liable for the value added tax of the service commission in your country. Be sure to follow your country’s taxation principles!
By default, the most common payment methods used in Finland are made available, but these can also be disabled by contacting our customer service. According to the EU Payment Services Directive, valid from the beginning of 2018, additional payment method specific costs cannot be charged from the payer, which means that companies are responsible for the costs charged by card companies. The additional cost is charged automatically, and it is present in Hopoti’s sales commission. A list of additional payment method specific costs applied in Finland can be found below. The current rate of value added tax is applied.

We recommend enabling all payment methods for clients, as even if card payments entail a small additional cost only a very small portion of clients, less than 5% according to our statistics, uses these payment methods.
