Update 2026-09-18

The past couple of months brought two kinds of change. We've introduced subscription agreements, which open up a set of capabilities for stables that want them, and alongside that there's a round of improvements to reports, emails, skill levels and horse profiles. Read on for the details.

✨ Introducing subscription agreements

We've introduced subscription agreements, which bring your stable capabilities beyond what it has today: bookings with offline payments for cash, bank transfers and payment on account, the option to pass booking fees on to your riders, SMS text messaging, branding and custom colours on your Hopoti page, premium onboarding, and a dedicated account manager.

Interested in SMS text messaging, bookings with offline payments, ACH payments, passing booking fees to riders, or anything else here? Just send us a message and we'll get it set up for you.

📊 More in your reports

Three additions this round. The payments report now shows an event end time next to the start time, so you can see the full period a booking or a term actually covers. The reservations report includes waitlisted customers, with their waitlist status in the Status column — handy when you're weighing up whether to open another group. And the event report now breaks revenue down by instructor.

👥 Skill level titles

Stables using custom skill levels can now set the titles themselves rather than only describing the levels, and once you do, the Hopoti default titles disappear from your stable entirely.

🐴 Height, colour and Coggins on horse profiles

Horse profiles now carry height and colour alongside other horse information. There's also a new Coggins section in the horse's basic information where you can store the latest certificate as a PDF or a photo, view it, and replace it when a new one arrives — one less certificate living in somebody's inbox. Coggins testing applies to stables in the US; elsewhere the section is simply there if you need it.

📧 Emails and notifications

Invoice and part-payment reminders now carry your stable's branding — header, cover image, profile image and a link to your stable page — so they look like they came from you rather than from us. We also corrected a wrong due date in the part-payment reminder. On parent and child accounts, duplicate notifications are gone, participant names now appear correctly in message subjects and bodies, and parents are emailed when their child subscribes to the open places reminder.

You can now see everything your stable has sent, in one place. Open "Message history" on the Customers page for a list of sent emails and text messages — date, sender, subject, how many recipients each one reached, and how many were delivered, left unsent or failed. Click any row to open the message and read exactly what was sent, word for word. You can also filter by channel or by date range. When a rider says nothing arrived, or asks what the message actually said, you can check for yourself before answering.

🖼️ Upload an image once, use it everywhere

Images now belong to your stable rather than to one specific place. Upload once and reuse the same image in emails, on your stable's main page and on its sub-pages. You can also upload an image straight from the message dialog and drop it into the email you're writing, instead of preparing it somewhere else first — a small but irritating extra step now gone.

🧾 Extra details on receipts

Receipts opened from history can now carry an extra field of your own — you set both the field name and its text — plus a note marking information the client added themselves.

🔧 Fixes and improvements

We fixed a batch of small bugs this round, mostly around time zones, notifications, forms and horsecare. The app also loads faster and more reliably thanks to an updated service worker.

As always, we'd love to hear what you think. If you have questions, feedback, or ideas, don't hesitate to reach out — your input helps us keep improving Hopoti for every stable and rider using it. 🐴
