Create a multi-day camp that riders buy as one product, while each session still shows separately in your calendar and riding sessions show in Horse assign. You need Administrator or Instructor permissions.
Create the camp
In Events, open the arrow next to Add new event and select Add new camp.
Fill in Event name and Event description. The Event type is Riding camp by default.
Set the places under Attendees, the minimum skill level and the instructors. Every session gets these by default.
Check the Cancellation policy. Camps start with No return, so riders can't cancel the camp.
Enter the Camp price and its VAT rate.
Choose the Event calendar, Event location and any Event forms, and check Tags – limit buying.
Select Define camp duration and programme and set the dates and sessions (see below).
Choose the Event availability and select Add camp.
Set the dates and the programme
On the Camp time and duration tab, drag across the calendar to set the camp's days and times, or fill in From, To, Start time and End time under Camp duration.
On the Camp programme tab, add each session: drag a time on the calendar or select Add camp event. Choose the session's type and give it a clear name.
Select OK.
Riders see only the camp itself on your Booking page. When they buy it, they're booked on every session, and each session shows in their own calendar. Your Events page shows the camp's main event and each session separately.
How riders pay for the camp
Riders pay the Camp price. To let them book the camp with one Stablecard credit instead, add the All Stablecards tag (or a card's own tag) under Tags – limit buying. New camps only have All Users there, so the camp window shows No suitable Stablecards for this event until you add one.
On the Growth, Pro and Ultimate plans, you can split the camp price into line items with their own VAT rates, for example riding, arena time and meals: select Add line items under Camp price. New features like this aren't part of earlier plans (from before September 2026). Message our team to get access. See Split a price into line items with different VAT rates.
Open the section that fits your camp:
If riders pay in parts
If riders pay in parts
Raise Maximum installments and choose under Due date when the parts are due: one day, one week or one month (the default for camps) before the first event. Immediately only works for one part. To secure places with an upfront payment, select Add booking deposit: the deposit is part of the camp price. If a part isn't paid within your stable's grace days (3 days after its due date by default), Hopoti cancels it with its bookings. See Sell a season with instalments or a booking deposit.
If the camp has theory sessions
If the camp has theory sessions
Each session in the Camp programme has a type. For a Riding lesson, you assign horses in Horse assign; Theory lesson and Other get no horses. Name each session precisely, for example "Horse care theory", so riders know what to expect.
If you show camps as a showcase
If you show camps as a showcase
To make camps stand out on your Booking page, put them in their own calendar and set its Presentation to Showcase in Settings > Calendars. A showcase suits a handful of events; for dozens, keep the calendar view. See Organise your Booking page with calendars and locations.
Change or copy a camp
To change the programme, open the camp's main event in Events and edit it. To change one session, for example its instructor, open that session.
To run the camp again, copy it from the buttons at the bottom of the camp's Edit tab or from the ... menu. In the copy view, choose the new dates: Hopoti schedules the sessions for that period, and you can adjust them before you save.
If something doesn't look right
Check these in order:
Riders can't book the camp: check Tags – limit buying first, then the places left and that the rider has signed your Registration Form.
Riders can't see the camp: check Event availability and that the camp is in an Event calendar.
Riders can't pay with a Stablecard: add the All Stablecards tag or the card's own tag.
You can't save the camp: set its dates with Define camp duration and programme and check the Camp price (the lowest price you can enter depends on your currency).
A session doesn't show in Horse assign: its type is Theory lesson or Other.
Still stuck? Message our team with the camp's name and dates.
