Calendar sync puts your Hopoti bookings in the calendar app you already use, such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Hopoti gives you a calendar link (an iCal address) that your calendar app subscribes to.
Turn on calendar sync and copy your link
Open the menu in the top-right corner and select Account settings.
Open Integrations and select Calendar Sync.
Turn calendar sync on.
Copy your Hopoti calendar link.
You can also turn on calendar sync at the bottom of My calendar.
Calendar sync includes your own and your family's bookings. If you're an instructor, it also includes the lessons you teach, with the names of the riders on each lesson.
Add the link to your calendar app
Paste your Hopoti calendar link into your calendar app's option for adding a calendar from a URL. Open the section for your app:

Google Calendar only lets you add the Hopoti calendar on a computer. Once it's added, it shows in the phone app too.
On a computer, go to calendar.google.com and log in.
In the left sidebar, select + (Add other calendars) next to Other calendars.
Select From URL.
Paste your Hopoti calendar link into URL of calendar and select Add calendar.
If you use Apple Calendar on an iPhone or iPad

Add the Hopoti calendar in the Calendar app:
Open the Calendar app and tap Calendars (at the bottom of the screen on older iOS versions).
Tap Add Calendar, then Add Subscription Calendar.
Paste your Hopoti calendar link and tap Find (Subscribe on older iOS versions).
Choose iCloud as the account, so the calendar shows on all your Apple devices, and finish adding it.
On older iOS versions, you can also go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar and paste your Hopoti calendar link there.
If you use a Mac, Outlook or another calendar app
If you use a Mac, Outlook or another calendar app
On a Mac, open the Calendar app, choose File > New Calendar Subscription, paste your Hopoti calendar link and select Subscribe.
In Outlook or another calendar app, use the option to subscribe to a calendar from the web or from a URL, and paste your Hopoti calendar link there. Your app's own help has the exact steps.
What happens next
Your Hopoti bookings now come into your calendar app automatically. Calendar apps check for changes at their own pace, so a new booking or a cancellation can take up to 24 hours to show there. The up-to-date information is always in My calendar in Hopoti.
To stop syncing, remove the Hopoti calendar from your calendar app, or turn calendar sync off in Account settings > Integrations.
If your lessons don't show in your calendar app
Check these in order:
The change is recent. Wait up to 24 hours: your calendar app decides when it updates.
Calendar sync is off. Turn it on in Account settings > Integrations.
The link wasn't added as a URL. Paste the whole Hopoti calendar link into your app's option for adding a calendar from a URL.
You use Google Calendar on your phone. Add the link on a computer at calendar.google.com first.
