🔗 Faster payments for families with Link
We initially introduced auto-filling your card details with Link by Stripe in September 2023. Now, thanks to the new checkout, this experience is also getting a face-lift, and we are introducing support for swift payments for parents using Family Accounts, as parents' Link details are available when using child accounts as a parent. 🏦 VAT changes in Finland
The Finnish VAT rate will increase by 1.5 percentage points, from 24% to 25.5%, effective September 1, 2024. Hopoti.com is provided by Hopoti Software Oy (FI27707946), subject to Finland's taxation. This VAT change to 25.5% will be visible in the upcoming:
Hopoti Plus payments for Riders.
Hopoti Fees for Finnish businesses.
Hopoti Fees for EU businesses without a valid EU VAT number to activate a Reverse VAT charge of 0%.
🔧 Seamless quick fixes
During May, June and July, we have fine-tuned our major tech update, published at the end of April 2024. We have deployed 60+ new update packages during this time, fixing over 150+ issues, mostly under the hood. This pace of rapid updates is central to Hopoti's new development cycle, ensuring even quicker enhancements in the future.

Now that the payment experience and backend systems are up-to-date and technical problems have been ironed out, we look forward to polishing some of the essential workflows in Hopoti. Here's what we will be working on next:
Joining Hopoti will be enhanced with a step-by-step wizard that will help you create all Family Accounts already while registering.
Family Accounts will also have a separate interactive user guide to get everyone up to speed on how to use them.
Creating Hopoti users through business views also gets new features, as you can soon create Family Accounts on behalf of the clients and edit them until the user accounts are taken into use.
Booking views for riders will include new buttons to quickly change between Family Accounts to speed up the booking process.
