The Payment Fee Plan is the best choice if you want to use Hopoti's online payments for most bookings. You can choose your plan when you first publish your business with us, and you may also contact our support at any time to change your plan.

Overage Usage | Keep your plan updated at the correct usage limits to avoid the additional charge of +30% for the overage usage billed in the upcoming payments.
What is a Booking? | Each client booked for a completed Lesson, Camp, or other Event or Service is considered as one booking. You donโt pay anything extra for cancellations or rebookings. Also, you can take payments with any method you want, with a 0% requirement to be paid online.
What extra Boarding Horses have? | Boarding Horses comes with a complimentary Hopoti Plus subscription to share with the horse owner. Features include Horsecare, Riding Diary, Achievements and other extra rider benefits. The retail value of Hopoti Plus is $5.99/month for each rider, which can be advertised as part of your Horse Boarding benefits.
Can I still use Online Payments? | Absolutely! You can keep accepting online card payments for any use case or customers who prefer them. These are charged at our standard online payment fee with a 0% requirement to be paid online. You can also ask us to turn off the Online Payments for your business entirely if needed.

To simplify things and make our pricing predictable to you, we charge a fixed 4.9% standard fee that combines Hopoti and payment costs. For example, with a $50 payment, the standard costs from our payment partner Stripe are over 70% of the fee:
This fee covers all major debit and credit card payments, both domestic and international, through Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Union Pay, and Link by Stripe. We also don't charge you anything extra like Stripe usually would for international cards (+1.5% with Stripe).

United States: 2 business day delay.
Canada: 3 business day delay.
Exceptions: bank holidays and other circumstances may delay the payouts.
Daily Payouts: +0.3% extra fee per payment to enable payouts for every weekday. This accelerated schedule is only available by request for businesses meeting eligibility criteria based on risk and history with us.
Refunds โ free of charge
By default, when customers cancel within the policies you set, they are compensated with a stablecard credit, which can be used to reschedule a new booking. However, the business can request a full or partial refund for any of the payments if needed, with no extra charges.
Please note that our fee is charged at the time of the purchase and will not be refunded. Also, as the refunded amount is deducted from the next payout, you need to have the required balance with us to complete the refund.

How does the fair use rule work?
When you use Hopoti with just the online payments, you don't need to think about pricing tiers, monthly or yearly billings, or worrying that we charge your customers for bookings. We offer all our features and support with an all-inclusive payment fee.
To keep things fair, our Terms define that 80% of the booking traffic needs to be paid through Hopoti. The level is checked monthly โ meaning that, on average, up to every fifth of your bookings could be paid with cash or other payment methods outside Hopoti.

In what way is the minimum fee calculated?
In Hopoti, our fees are applied to the total payment amount. If the standard percentage fee for your transaction is lower than the minimum fee set for that currency, we will apply the minimum fee instead. Furthermore, any applicable taxes will be added to your final fees. Please refer to the minimum fees for each region and currency above.
