Update 2025-05-29

Updated this week

πŸ“ New Forms & Waivers Features Available for All Businesses

Our popular Forms & Waivers tools have now been released out of beta and are available to all Hopoti businesses at no extra cost. With this update, you can fully manage waivers, registration forms, surveys, competitions, contracts, and more – with unlimited forms, submissions, and e-signatures included in your plan.

βœ… All-New Forms Page

As an admin, you’ll find a dedicated Forms page, with three main views:

  • Registration Form – Required from clients before booking.

  • Edit Forms – Build, edit and publish any custom forms.

  • Completed Forms – View and manage submitted entries.

✍️ Registration Form Improvements

The updated registration form (also known as waiver, disclaimer, etc.) now includes:

  • Required before bookings (previously optional in beta).

  • Drag-and-drop form builder with support for all field types.

  • Digital e-signatures, stored and certified with a unique document ID.

  • Forms are saved as PDFs and emailed to both the client and business.

  • Set how long forms remain valid and if the latest version is always required.

  • Editable via duplication – no need to start from scratch.

  • Learn more from our Help Article.

ℹ️ Hopoti uses Simple Electronic Signatures (SES), which are legally valid in most regions. Always consult a legal expert for your specific local requirements.

πŸ“ Unlimited Custom Forms Supported

You can now create and publish unlimited forms, including:

πŸ‡ Competitions – Entry and registration forms

🧾 Contracts – Lease, rental, stablecard upgrades

πŸ“‹ Surveys – Feedback and wishlist forms

πŸ“Έ Waivers – Photo releases, health and safety agreements

πŸ•’ Waiting Lists – For lessons, camps, or services

βž• Any Other Forms – Fully customizable for your needs

Supports all major field types: text, select, checkboxes, ratings (star & emoji), user data, horse selection, signature fields and more. Learn more from our Help Article.

πŸ“Œ Attach Forms to Events and Services

You can now attach forms to any service or event. Clients will be asked to fill these out during checkout. Use this to collect:

  • Horse preferences

  • Dietary needs or allergies for camps

  • Extra competition data

  • Any custom entry form

Completed forms appear directly in the event window, next to each participant.

πŸ—‚οΈ Organize Forms with Categories

Manage your workflow with custom form categories:

  • Create your own labels (e.g., "Waiting", "In Progress", "Done")

  • Assign default categories per form

  • Easily move forms between categories as work progresses

πŸ“Š Summaries & Data Exports

For surveys and group forms, Hopoti automatically creates summaries:

  • View averages, percentages, graphs and breakdowns

  • Export to Excel or CSV for more advanced reporting

βš™οΈ Per-Form Settings

Each form can be customized with specific settings, including:

  • Whether a PDF is generated

  • Who receives email copies (client, business, or both)

  • Whether the form is required once or every time when attached to events

🀩 Easy for Clients

Clients can access and fill forms from:

  • Your Hopoti front page (if selected)

  • Event and service bookings (if forms are attached)

  • Direct links shared via email, Hopoti Feed, social media, etc.

Every form they complete is saved to their profile and emailed (if configured).

✨ Other Improvements

  • Full Width View – Admin pages now include a ↔️ toggle in the top-right corner to expand to full screen on larger displays.
