Hide riders who no longer ride with you, or an old duplicate account, to keep your client list tidy. Hiding a client keeps the rider's bookings, invoices and payment history.
Hide a client
Select Clients in the admin menu.
Select the rider's name to open their client card.
Select Hide client at the bottom of the client card.
The rider is now off your client list and doesn't appear when you add riders to a lesson yourself. Messages you send from the Clients page don't go to hidden riders. The rider's bookings, invoices and history stay as they are.
Hiding a client only changes your own lists. It doesn't take the rider off lessons they've already booked and doesn't delete their Hopoti account. The rider can still log in, and can still book and buy on your Hopoti page.
Find hidden clients
Hidden riders stay in Hopoti. To see them on your client list:
Select Clients in the admin menu.
Select the filter (funnel) next to the tabs.
Tick Hidden clients.
Hidden riders now show on the list, and you can open their client card to see their bookings, invoices and history.
Make a hidden client visible again
You can bring a hidden rider back onto your client list at any time:
Select Clients in the admin menu.
Select the filter (funnel) next to the tabs and tick Hidden clients.
Select the rider's name to open their client card.
Select Restore hidden client at the bottom of the client card, where Hide client was.
The rider is back on your client list like any other client.
These situations need a few extra steps:
If the rider has future bookings
If the rider has future bookings
Hiding a client keeps the rider on every lesson they've booked. To take the rider off future lessons:
Open the rider's client card and select Reservations.
Select a lesson.
Select Remove client from event.
To take the rider off all their lessons at once, switch Reservations to the month view and select Remove client from all events. When you remove a rider, you choose whether they get Stablecard credit for the lesson. To return money instead, see Refund a payment. For more on changing bookings, see Manage riders on a lesson.
If the rider has two accounts
If the rider has two accounts
Hopoti can't merge two accounts. Move the bookings to the account the rider uses, then hide the other account. The steps are in Add a rider or a family yourself.
If the rider wants their account deleted
If the rider wants their account deleted
A stable can't delete a rider's Hopoti account. The rider sends a deletion request themselves, and Hopoti deletes the account:
from their account, under Account settings > Account Details > Remove account, or
by email to support@hopoti.com, sent from the email address on the account.
Hopoti only deletes the account the request comes from, so a request sent by the stable, or from another account or email address, can't be accepted. Deleting an account is final: future bookings are cancelled, unused credits and Passes are lost, and child accounts without their own login are deleted too. Point the rider to Delete your account and data.
