If your stable offers Memberships, you can join a weekly lesson once, for yourself or your child, and keep the place every week, paying one invoice a month until you give notice. We're adding more to Memberships: see Coming soon below.
A Membership isn't a Pass. For Passes, see Buy a Pass or a gift card.
Available today
Today, Memberships work like this.
A Membership covers one weekly lesson, and you're booked into every future date of it.
Your first payment covers only the lessons left in the month you join. For example, with 3 of the month's 5 lessons left, you pay 3/5 of the monthly price. If you join on the 1st, you pay a full month.
After that, every full month costs the same, whether it has 4 or 5 lessons. You aren't invoiced for a month with no lessons.
Each month's invoice is sent on or before the 1st (your stable decides how many days before) and is due on the 1st. You get an email and pay online yourself: nothing is charged automatically. Memberships are always paid online, so your stable's offline methods aren't offered.
If you join after this month's invoice date, you get next month's invoice straight away too.
If your stable has added a booking fee (your stable may use its own name for it), it's added to each Membership payment, and the amounts you see include it.
Join a Membership
Open your stable's Booking page and select the weekly lesson. Price shows the Membership price per month.
Select Continue booking.
Under Purchase method, choose Membership.
Check Who is riding?, What you pay now and the Notice terms.
If the lesson has forms, fill them in.
Select Continue to payment method selection and pay online.
You're now booked in, and your Membership shows under Memberships in the menu in the top-right corner.
If you can't join a Membership, check these in order:
Membership isn't offered under Purchase method. The lesson isn't part of a Membership you can join: ask your stable.
The lesson is full on every date. Ask your stable about places.
Still stuck? Message our team in the chat with your stable's name and the lesson.
Pay your monthly invoice
Each month's Membership invoice is in Invoices in the top bar, and on your Memberships page with Pay now. Pay it online by the 1st: see Pay your invoices.
A late Membership invoice isn't cancelled, and you keep your place. Your stable sees who hasn't paid and follows up with you.
Give notice
Your last day follows the Membership's notice terms, which your Memberships page shows for each Membership.
Open Memberships from the menu in the top-right corner.
On the Membership you want to end, select Give notice.
Check the date you keep your place until, and select Give notice to confirm.
Lessons after that date are released and you aren't invoiced again. If your last day is mid-month, the last invoice covers only the lessons up to that day. If you've already had an invoice for a month after your last day, an unpaid one is cancelled automatically, and a paid one is refunded in full by your stable. Notice can't be undone.
More about Memberships
Open the section that fits you:
If you join for your child
If you join for your child
Join from your own parent account (see Set up a family account for your children). Under Who is riding?, select Change participant and choose your child. Your child becomes the member, and the monthly invoices come to your account for you to pay. Your Memberships page shows the Membership under your child's name.
If you can't come to one of your Membership lessons
If you can't come to one of your Membership lessons
You can't cancel a single Membership lesson yourself: the lesson shows that it's part of your Membership. If you can't come one week, contact your stable: they can remove you from that date and give you a Stablecard credit, valid for 3 months.
To stop the lessons for good, give notice on your Memberships page.
If your stable cancels a Membership lesson
If your stable cancels a Membership lesson
If your stable cancels a lesson and gives riders a Stablecard credit, you get one too, like the other riders on the lesson. It's valid for 3 months. Your monthly price stays the same.

Family payments: one saved card can pay for all your children's Memberships, with siblings charged together once a month.
Several weekly lessons in one Membership, with one monthly price and one invoice a month.
Changing your weekly lesson from your Memberships page, without ending your Membership.
Emails before a price or terms change applies, and a regular reminder of your active Memberships.
