Book a lesson for yourself or your child on your stable's Booking page, and pay online, with a Stablecard or in another way your stable offers.
Before you start
Log in to Hopoti. If your stable uses a Registration Form, sign it first: you can't book until you have. See Sign your stable's Registration Form.
Book a lesson
Open your stable's Hopoti page and select Booking.
Choose a calendar under Select calendar and find your lesson. Filter helps you narrow the list, for example by your skill level.
Select the lesson and check the time, the places left, the Price and the Cancellation policy.
Select Continue booking.
Under Purchase method, choose Buy a Lesson.
Fill in any forms your stable asks for.
Select Continue to payment method selection, choose Pay online and pay.
You see a confirmation, get a receipt by email, and the lesson shows in My calendar straight away.
While you pay, Hopoti holds your place for a limited time only. If you don't finish paying in time, start the booking again.
Any booking fee your stable has added (it may use its own name for it) is already included in the prices. See Why is there a booking fee on my price?
The box at checkout offering news from your stable is optional.
If the lesson is full: get told when a place opens up
Hopoti can email you when a place opens up on a full lesson:
On the Booking page, select the full lesson.
Select Subscribe to email.
The lesson now shows a bell 🔔. When a place opens up, you get an email and can book as usual. To stop the emails, select the bell on the lesson again.
Other ways to book
Open the situation that fits you:
If you book for your child
If you book for your child
Book from your own account, one child at a time. In the lesson's booking window, select the account button next to Continue booking and choose your child under Switch account. See Set up a family account for your children.
If you pay with a Stablecard
If you pay with a Stablecard
In step 5, under Purchase method, choose Pay with Stablecard and select your card. Each credit books one lesson. Check the card's Valid until date first: credits can't be used after it.
If Pay with Stablecard isn't offered, the card isn't valid for this lesson, has no credits left or has expired. To see only the lessons your card is valid for, select the card on the Booking page. Your stable decides which lessons each card books, so ask them if you think it should work. See Buy and use Stablecards.
If you pay at the stable or another offline way
If you pay at the stable or another offline way
Some stables let you book now and pay them directly, for example in cash. Choose your stable's method instead of Pay online, read its instructions and select Confirm booking.
You get an invoice marked Offline payment in Invoices, due on the lesson date. Pay the stable as it asks, and the stable marks the invoice as paid. See Ways to pay.
If the lesson asks for a higher skill level
If the lesson asks for a higher skill level
If your level is below the lesson's Skill level at least, you see "Pay attention to your skill level". You can usually still book, but check with your stable that the lesson suits you. If your stable needs a confirmed level, ask them to confirm yours (see Set your skill level).
If the lesson offers a monthly Membership
If the lesson offers a monthly Membership
If your stable offers Memberships, choose Membership under Purchase method to keep your place every week and pay one invoice a month. See Join a monthly Membership.
If you can't book
Check these in order:
You're logged in, on the right family account.
You've signed the Registration Form (the lesson shows Sign Registration Form if not).
Booking hasn't closed (if your stable sets a closing time, the lesson shows a countdown).
More checks: I can't book a lesson. Not sure which option suits you, or an option you expected is missing? Ask your stable. For technical problems, message our team in the chat with your stable's name, the lesson and what you see.
