Book every lesson of a season (some stables say term or course) or a whole camp in one go, and pay in instalments or with a booking deposit if your stable allows it.
Before you start
Log in, and sign your stable's Registration Form if it uses one: see Sign your stable's Registration Form.
Check the dates and the Cancellation policy. You usually can't cancel a whole season or camp once you've bought it, only single lessons of a season.
Book a season
Open your stable's Hopoti page and select Booking.
Select a lesson of the series. Under Price, the season shows its price, number of lessons and end date.
Select Continue booking.
Under Purchase method, choose the season.
Fill in any forms your stable asks for.
Select Continue to payment method selection and pay.
You're booked on every remaining lesson of the season that has a free place: the lessons show in My calendar straight away, and you get a receipt by email. Any booking fee your stable has added (it may use its own name for it) is already in the season price.
Book a camp
Camps are on your stable's Booking page, often in a calendar of their own. Select the camp and book it the same way as a season. Every session of the camp then shows in My calendar. Camps usually have the No return cancellation policy.
A camp is bought as a whole. If you'd like only some days, ask your stable whether it sells them separately.
Other situations
Open the one that fits you:
If you pay in instalments
If you pay in instalments
If your stable allows it, you choose how many parts to pay the season or camp in, up to the number your stable has set. Each part is its own invoice for its own lessons, due for example a week before the first lesson it covers, and Hopoti emails you reminders. Any booking fee is charged at the rate in force when you pay each part.
A part that isn't paid within your stable's grace period (3 days after its due date by default) is cancelled with its lessons, and depending on your stable's settings your other season lessons too. Cancelled bookings can't be restored. See Pay your invoices.
If the season or camp has a booking deposit
If the season or camp has a booking deposit
You pay the booking deposit when you book, to secure your place, and the rest later as invoices. The deposit is part of the price, not an extra charge, and there's no separate deposit if the season has already started. A booking deposit isn't a booking fee: see Why is there a booking fee on my price?
If the season has started or some lessons are full
If the season has started or some lessons are full
You still pay the full season price. You're booked on the lessons left that have a free place, and you get Stablecard credits for the lessons that are full or have already passed. Find them under Cards in the menu in the top-right corner and use them before the card's Valid until date.
If you book for your child
If you book for your child
Book from your own account: in the lesson's booking window, select the account button next to Continue booking and choose your child under Switch account. The invoices come to your own account. See Set up a family account for your children.
If you can't come to a lesson of your season
Cancel that lesson in My calendar. Season lessons have their own cancellation policy: cancel in time and you get a Stablecard credit valid until the end of the season. See Cancel a booking and get your credit.
If you can't book the season
If the lesson only offers single lessons or Stablecards, the season isn't on sale or not all its lessons are open yet: ask your stable. For other checks, see I can't book a lesson.
For technical problems, message our team in the chat with your stable's name, the season or camp and what you see.
