Decide until when riders can book each day's lessons, who can book which level, and whether new riders can book without registering in full. These settings are in Settings > Settings > Default settings, and you need to be an Administrator to change them.
Choose when booking closes
Booking closes sets one closing time per weekday for that day's lessons. For example, 08:00 on Monday closes booking for all Monday lessons at 08:00.
Go to Settings > Settings and open Default settings.
Switch Booking closes on.
Enter a closing time for each weekday you want, for example 08:00 for Monday to Friday.
Select Save.
When riders open a lesson, they see "The booking closes" with a countdown. The closing times follow your stable's time zone in Settings > Settings > Business details.
Other booking settings
Two more settings in Default settings change what riders can book and see:
Require confirmed skill levels: riders can book a lesson only if their confirmed skill level is at least the lesson's level. Riders without a confirmed level can book only No experience lessons, so confirm new riders' levels quickly. See Set up skill levels and confirm riders' levels.
Show service reservations in the booking calendar: riders also see services that are already booked, not only the free times.
Let new riders book faster with Quick checkout
With Quick checkout, a new rider gives only their name, phone number and email address instead of registering in full. Your forms, payments and options work as usual, and the rider shows in Clients with just those details. Quick checkout suits one-time bookings such as trail rides, arena hire and competitions.
In Settings > Settings > Default settings, find Quick checkout type.
Select Switch on the option you want, so it shows Active:
Select by calendar (the default): new riders register in full, except in the calendars where you switch Quick checkout on.
All bookings: every booking uses Quick checkout.
Select Save.
We recommend Select by calendar for most stables: Quick checkout for one-time bookings, full registration for your regular riders.
Two Quick checkout setups need an extra step:

With Quick checkout type set to Select by calendar, go to Settings > Calendars, select the pencil next to the calendar (for example Hacking), set Quick checkout to Yes and select Save changes. If you need riders' weight or height before riding
If you need riders' weight or height before riding
Riders who book with Quick checkout still sign your Registration Form, but they don't fill in their weight, height or other rider details. If you need those details, for example to choose horses, use Select by calendar and switch Quick checkout on only in calendars where you don't need them. See Set up the Registration Form riders must sign.
If riders can't book
Check these in order:
Tags: the lesson's Tags – limit buying doesn't include a tag the rider or their Stablecard has. See Use tags to decide who can book and buy.
Booking has closed: check the Booking closes time for that weekday.
Skill level: with Require confirmed skill levels on, the rider's confirmed level is below the lesson's level, or not confirmed yet.
Registration Form: the rider hasn't signed it yet.
Quick checkout isn't offered: with Select by calendar, the lesson's calendar has Quick checkout set to No.
